The Producer

In 1996 Andreas started "Zip Music", his music production company. Since then Zip Music has produced more than 140 CD´s in many musical style:
Classical Masterpieces, Greatest Hits and Evergreens, Relaxation & Meditation, Children Songs, Christmas Music, Special Products, Lounge Music, Aerobic, Fitness, Ethnic Music, World Music,...

Zip Music CD´s have been licensed to record companies all over the world and received several golden CD´s. The company is now managed by Jens Ewald.

The Author

Andreas began writing method books on bass playing and theory by the year 1985, now totalling over 20 available publications. Some of the books became standard repertoire in german speaking countries. Here a small summary:

Between 1985 and 1994 Andreas was the "Bass Workshop" columnist for "Fachblatt Musikmagazin", Germany´s leading music magazine of this time. His column was then continued in the magazines "Gitarre & Bass" and "Soundcheck".

The Teacher

In spring 1984 Andreas started teaching the new classes of electric bass at the Music Academy of Cologne, which was the first European academy to start electric bass seminars. He remained faculty member at the Academy in Cologne for 21 years. He terminated the job in 2005 due to the lack of time.

Andreas has also tought at the "HDK - Hochschule der Künste" and the "Hans Eissler Hochschule für Musik" in Berlin
